Lisa Brown, Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator

Welcome! We have a fun and exciting Blog Hop for you this month. Did you know that inside each Stampin’ Up! catalog, besides there being so many inspirational ideas, you will also find some techniques? Well, that is what we are sharing this month!

Take a look at page 110-111 of the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog, entitled ‘Fun with Blocks’. These pages give you several little techniques you can do with your acrylic stamping blocks.

The technique I chose to use is curving your stamps on the block. I took a stamp that says “It’s Your Birthday” for my project. Below I show you how I would normally mount it straight across the block, but I arched it giving a different look:

Here’s what it looks like on my card project:

I used the Brushed with Beauty Suite Collection, which was released a few weeks ago. The Very Vanilla card stock background (4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″) was embossed with the Beautiful Pattern 3D embossing folder. The Brushed with Beauty Designer Series Paper is so pretty. Cut a strip to highlight the paper, that is 1-1/4″ x 5-1/8 and mat with Mossy Meadow CS measuring 1-3/8″ x 5-1/4.

Let’s buzzzz on over to see what block technique Leigh used to create her project

Be sure to buzzzz on back to Linda Bauwin’s blog for her project and which block technique she used:

I need to use this technique more with the blocks. Love the card, and the suite collection.
