Jolly Old Saint Nick has come and gone.  All the hustle and bustle to shop, prepare and organize is behind us.  Next up, celebrating the New Year which I hope you do in style. 😊

Are you like me and take alllllll these photos which end up stuck on your phone?  Ugh!  So I thought, why not share a few with you.  

Here is my wrapping helper, well, or maybe he just wanted to be the present…  My other guy on the back of the couch could care less. Lol.  But not Butterscotch. He has to investigate everything. 

Christmas day with the family was great.  I have two adorable little nieces, then one who is 12 and a nephew that is 8.  The kids sure do make the holidays fun and exciting.  The baby is now on the move and into everything.  Her 2-1/2 year old sister is not quite sure about the situation and is quick to say, "No, no, no sissy….Mine!  No touch!"  This should be fun with all the new toys.  

I love to make handmade gifts and this year was no exception.  Do you guys know what a Cricut is or have one?  Most of  you should know what it is but just in case, in short, it is an electronic die cutting machine.  I try to use it when I can. Cutting out iron on vinyl to make t-shirts for the kids or vinyl decor items.  This year I adventured into the world of glass etching.  I designed images and words, then cut those as stencils from vinyl, transferred the stencil to glass and used an etching cream from the local craft store.  A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.  I will definitely be doing more next year if not sooner, and trying on glass ornaments… hmmmmm.  Here is some of the bakeware gifts I made.

And one more family project which was fun to work on.  My SIL loved it!  Scrabble-like tiles connecting their names together.
