Lisa Brown, Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator

So Grateful… November is a good reminder of what we are grateful for; family, friends and simple blessings in  our life.  I wanted to share this sweet card project that is a creative fold with a surprising inside.

The featured stamp set is called Apple Harvest and the background was made with the Gingham embossing folder.

My card base is Real Red CS (card stock) cut to  5-1/2 x 8-1/2 and scored at 2-1/8 from each end.

The front panels are two pieces of Basic White CS cut to 2 x 5-3/8.  Take Real  Red ink pad and lightly rub over the raised image side of the Gingham embossing folder, and emboss your two panels.

On a 2-3/4 x 3-3/4 piece of Basic White, stamp your words and apple image with Black Memento.  I used the following Stampin' Blends makers to color:  Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Soft Sea Foam, Balmy Blue and the Color Lifter.   Mat this to a piece of Granny Apple Green Cs that is 3 x 4.

Surprise Inside:
