Lisa Brown, Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator

Hello there…

So we have another teenager on our hands!  My nephew turned 13 and I can hardly believe it.  He is a very energetic and curious boy and Auntie enjoys our time together.  He is still wanting to hang out with me, with an occasional snuggle, I take what I can get.  The snuggles are lessening so I adore those that I do get.

Just like pictures, I take them when I can get them.  Ha! Ha!  Kids are so funny…

For his birthday, he wanted to spend the weekend with me.  So when we got to celebrate with family and friends, I made this card inspire by a card I saw made by SU Demo Amanda Mertz.  Inside he found thirteen one dollar bills (yes, only $13 as I spent a small fortune the weekend he was with me…lol).

#HB2U #stampwithlisabrown

I used Thick Basic White card stock for the card base and Basic Black for the mat.  I die cut the #HB2U out of this black mat to save paper.  I also die cut each one three times to layer up and it made them kind of pop.  I highly recommend using our Adhesive Sheets and the letters and numbers are thin.  The adhesive sheets made it a breeze to adhere.

I cut random angles from the Glorious Gingham 6×6 Designer Series Paper.  Not much stamping on this one, except my happy birthday sentiment inside, but I like how it turned out.   Hope you do to.
