This month we are springing forward. For most of us, we are in a region of what is suppose to be cold and snow. This year (oh don't let me jinx it) has been a mild season to say the least. And I don't know about you, but it just makes me more anxious and excited for spring to come.

One of spring's beautiful blooms is Lavender. I had a lavender bush at my house for over 20 years and loved the smell in the springtime. So that is what I am featuring today; product from The Perennial Lavender product suite (I used the Painted Lavender Bundle, Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper and Purple Fine Shimmer Gems).

It is a Double Opening Card: there is a front flap with a sentiment underneath along with the sentiment on the inside of the card.

This is made with a standard card base in Lost Lagoon
The flap piece measures 2-3/4 x 4-1/4" and scored at 1/2"
The white mat layer on the flap measures 2-5/8 x 3-5/8" (you will need two pieces)
Cut a piece of Lost Lagoon CS that is 2-3/4 x 3-3/4"
Large white mat on card front is 4-1/8 x 5-3/8"
Large white mat on inside of card is 4 x 5-1/4"
DSP on card front is 4 x 5-1/4"

I used Lost Lagoon ink along, with Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape.

Have fun in making different bouquets of lavender as there are several different dies in this set.
