Today I want to point out what I consider one of the most underrated Stampin' Up! items you need… the Piercing Mat. Do you want to know why? Well, let me just show you.
I don't think I have to ask "do you see it"? But just incase, do you see the leaf petal with the white splotch on it? Well, that is where I did not get a good ink impression while stamping. And had I put my card stock on top of my Piercing Mat, that most likely would not have happened. For a $5.00 investment, for an item that you can use for years, I think it is well worth the cost. For me its worth to reduce my frustration, LOL!
For this card, I used the Changing Leaves Bundle (which is awesome as it comes with stamps, dies and a hybrid 3D embossing folder), Thoughtful Journey 6×6" DSP, and the 2024-2026 Shimmer Paper. All items are linked below.
Notice all the "dots" on my card? These are not gemstone embellishments, they are dots of Metallic Enamel Effects in gold. The metallic pack is a pack of three colors, gold, copper and silver. We have a Pearlized pack too, and that pack of three are real red, white and black. You should really check these out.
