Lisa Brown, Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator

Are you unsure about other ways to use watercolor pencils besides with water and water brushes? How about dry to add details to your stamped images?

Hi! I’m Lisa Brown, and I am here to help inspire you and bring creative ideas for your crafting projects. Today I am sharing a technique Stampin’ Up! shared with us demonstrators on how to add some extra detail to colored images using watercolor pencils.

They even provided a sketch of this simple and pretty layout. You can use this sketch over and over again with other color combinations and other stamp sets.

Here is a second project using the same stamp set and color combinations except with the addition of the Paradise Garden Hybrid Embossing Folder. This card has a stepped up feel by fussy cutting the floral images and leaves.

Links to all products used for the above cards are shown below. You can click on any one of them to go to my Shop. I hope you give this technique a try!
