The Beauty of Violet Dreams Suite

There is just something about violets that makes a handmade card feel extra special. 💜 The soft purple flowers, delicate greenery, and beautiful coordinating patterns in Stampin’ Up!’s Violet Dreams Suite Collection inspired me to create this pretty “I Appreciate You” card.

I love making cards that let the Designer Series Paper do some of the work, and this card was a perfect opportunity to showcase the gorgeous Violet Dreams Specialty Designer Series Paper.

For this card, I wanted the beautiful floral paper to frame the center of the card rather than simply cover the entire card front. I used the darker floral pattern around the outside, which creates a beautiful border and draws your eye toward the center. The lighter center panel gives the violets a place to really shine, especially with the Shimmering Stripes 12 x 12 specialty paper! See Image Below

The violet images are the star of the card. I used the Framed Violets Bundle to create the floral focal point, layering the flowers and leaves for a little extra dimension. And that sentiment says it all: I Appreciate You.
Sometimes a simple thank-you card is exactly what someone needs to brighten their day.
