Here's another card using the Forever Greenery Product Suite. I had fun making this card as I had not tried the "strip" background method before.
So in making cards with the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper, there were several scraps left over and I wanted to use them. Normally, I just throw them in my bag and there they sit, unused. Sooooo, this is a fantastic way to use up all those pieces. Man why haven't I tried this before?
I made sure all my strips of Designer Series Paper where 1/2" wide. The length was all different sizes as you can piece them in and trim off the excess. Just start my laying a couple down in the same direction making sure there are no gaps. Rotate directions and keep going until your Whisper White paper is completely covered.
The strips of DSP are adhered to a piece of Whisper White that is 5-3/8" x 4-1/8". And the best part is Stampin' Up! brought back Adhesive Sheets so I just covered my Whisper White with that to adhere my paper strips! Easy Peasy!
What's an Adhesive Sheet? It is sheets of super sticky adhesive that turns anything into a sticker. So I cut my Adhesive Sheet to that same dimension of 5-3/8 x 4-1/8 and adhered to my Whisper White, then peeled off the top protective paper to expose the adhesive. Great for detailed die cuts too but more about that in another post.
