Made With Love Valentine

Welcome to Creative Card Closet. I’m excited to share this fun Valentine’s Day card. You know February 14th will be here before we know it. Stampin’ Up! launched the New January – May Mini Catalog on January 6th where you can find several different items you can order for the Valentine’s holiday, so sure to look throughout the catalog. I have linked a few things below as well!

For my card, I am featuring 3 New items: the “Reason To Celebrate” stamp set, “Made With Love” Designer series paper, and an embellishment called “Pearlized Faceted Circles“.

Card base is Real Red with a layer of Calypso Coral and then a layer of Basic White. To make the “rays”, you will cut several different designs of the Made With Love DSP at 1″ x 5″ and then cut them at a diagonal. I used both sides of the paper, adhering them to a piece of Basic White that is 3-1/4″ x 5″. Trim off the excess DSP that hangs over the edge. Adhere to card.

Stamp Valentine’s Day in Real Red from the Reason To Celebrate stamp set on a piece of white card stock the is 1-1/2 x 3-1/4. Use a small piece of scrap white for the Happy, the piece is approximately 1/2″ by 1-1/2 and cut the banner cut into it. I also used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the happy.

Last, add some bling down the left side with the uniquely named Pearlized Faceted Circles. The pack has 120 pieces! 40 each of 3 colors and goes perfect with this paper.
