Lisa Brown, Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator

Welcome to our February Team Blog Hop featuring Blending Techniques! Did you know Stampin’ Up! has several different tools and products to create blended images and backgrounds? You can find these on pages 128-129 in the Annual Catalog.

I have chosen to show how I used our Blending Brushes to create a blended ombre background and our Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers to color the flowers and leaves of my project:

Using a blending brush and Melon Mambo ink pad, brush on ink to a 4-1/8 x 5-3/8 piece of Basic White card stock. Apply more pressure to the blending brush in the bottom right corner and lighten your pressure as you move up the paper. Work the brush in a circular motion. Once done, emboss with the 3D Eyelet embossing folder and add to Basic Black card base.

On a quarter sheet of white card stock, stamp your all your florals and leaves using Memento ink. Color using Melon Mambo and Old Olive Blends alcohol markers. Die cut all images and add to card front.

The words are stamped with Stazon ink on a tag from the Beautifully endorned Enphemora pack that comes in the suite collection.

I hope you liked my project now make sure you check out Kim and Linda’s projects.
