Lisa Brown Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator

Hello, crafty friends!

Today I’m sharing another sweet Christmas card featuring the Stampin’ Up! A Little Christmas Suite Collection. I just love this little mouse holding his Christmas present — he definitely deserves center stage!

For this card, I kept the layout fairly simple and let the coordinating Designer Series Paper and adorable stamped image do the work.

But there are a few great elements to this one! The Timeless Metallic 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Paper, the Flourish & Frames Hot Foil Bundle and some gold heat embossing.

The little mouse was stamped, colored with Blends markers and then die cut before being layered onto the beautiful Cherry Cobbler Timeless Metallic piece, hot foiled with a decorative frame. I love the contrast of the white mouse against that rich Christmas red.

Behind him, the tiny red bows on the Designer Series Paper add just enough pattern without making the card feel too busy.

The mouse is holding his little wrapped gift, which ties perfectly into the traditional red-and-white Christmas color combination.

✨ A Little Gold for Christmas

For an elegant finishing touch, I added the Merry Christmas sentiment with gold embossing powder. Also, the gold detailing on the sentiment and frame adds just a little holiday shine and looks beautiful against the deep red.

Sometimes you don’t need a lot of embellishments when the papers and focal image are this cute! This would be a fun design to recreate with some of the other images in the A Little Christmas Suite Collection, too.

Happy crafting and Merry Christmas! 🎄
