Lisa Brown, Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator

Hello, and welcome to my blog. Do you love a good masculine, grunge type card? Well, then I have a project for you today.  There’s almost no rhyme or reason, no thinking, no making sure things are in perfect alignment.  Sound fun? Let’s take a look at my card using the Gears & Textures Bundle and two designer papers from the Nature’s Walk suite collection.

Gears & Textures Bundle

Ahhhh…. I just love a good masculine card! And one that is non-specific to a certain male.  Meaning, a dad or son or brother. This card can be given to any male friend, colleague, or a neighbor maybe.

The card base and grunge stamping is Pecan Pie.  Some of the stamping is direct from the ink pad which the lighter images, I stamped off on scrap paper first, then onto the Designer Paper.

Card Details

  • Card base Pecan Pie 4-1/4 x 11
  • Mat is Specialty DSP – Natural Hues
    • 4-1/8 x 5-3/8
    • **Cut center of this piece out, almost like creating a frame, to stamp you words on. Your top DSP will cover the whole.
  • Top DSP – Nature Walk 4 x 5-1/4
  • Use Pecan Pie & Gold Foil to die cut all you gears pieces

**Two suggestions for the gear die cuts: Either add Adhesive sheets to the back of your paper Before you die cut OR use Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere pieces to card.
