Creative Card Closet

Hello, and welcome to my blog. Do you enjoy seeing creative fold cards but sometimes look at them and think, oh that’s just too hard for me? Well, I have the absolute easiest triple fold cards for you. Trust me… you can make it too. Let’s get started

First, I am featuring the Velvet Meadow Suite Collection along with a few other products. The Velvet Meadow suite is just beautiful in color and with the papers. Yes, just like in the name, Velvet… this suite comes with a pack of Velveteen Specialty papers called Velveteen Assortment 12″ x 12″.

I took several photos so you can get a good view of the card, but it starts off with a Thick Basic White card base that is 4-1/4″ x 11 and scored at 2-1/2″, 3-3/4″, 6-3/4″ and 8-1/4″. That’s it…. that’s the “hard” part if you want to call that hard.

Here’s the front view, closed; which still becomes a standard A2 sized card:

Next, we’ll look at what is needed for the designer series paper and other elements.

Velvet Meadow 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper (has velvet elements to it… those little white flowers in the center panel, those are all velvet to the touch)

• 2 pieces at 3-7/8 x 3-7/8
• 1 piece at 2-1/8 x 3-7/8
• 3 x 2 for label
• 2-1/4 x 1-1/2 for oval

Peaceful Pine 2-Tone Cardstock (the light side):

• 2 pieces at 4 x 4
• 1 piece at 2-1/4 x 4
• 1 piece at 2 x 2 for the “You” and use the dark side of paper

Velveteen Assortment 12 x 12: pieces for the “You” background and the flowers and leaves on the front.

Thick Basic White: 1-3/4 x 3-1/2 for back panel

Pearlized Specialty Paper: yellow flower center on front (not in bundle)

I like the above picture because it shows you the depth of the card.

Some final details: I used Peaceful Pine ink, 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies, Words & Wishes dies and Phrases & Frames die. Everything is linked below for you! I included the dies only and the bundles as options.
