Lisa Brown Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator

Welcome! Seems like I have been using the word gold a lot lately; gold foil, gold embossing, gold accents… But one can never have enough.

Today I am sharing a card using a large stamp called Inked Floret. It is one stamp and makes a good background image or focal point. Mine is a focal point. I used our clear sticky inked called VersaMark and then put gold embossing powder over the sticky ink. Using my heat tool, I heat the powder to melt it. Let’s take a look.

Now, if my image lines look a little thick, its because they are. I double embossed it. I used our Stamp Positioner tool to stamp the flower on a piece of 4″ x 5-1/4″ Beach Boardwalk Designer Series Paper (DSP). I heat embossed it. Then I stamped it in VersaMark again, more powder then heat. It creates a bolder image. Pool Party mat is 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″.

When cutting your DSP, which is 12″ x 12″, one strip will get you two pieces with a 1-1/2″ piece left over. Cut that into 3/4″ x 5-1/4″ and that is would I used to stamp the words on. The Pool Party mat is then 1″ x 4″ and I added with Stampin’ Dimensionals so I could add some Gold Mesh Ribbon and Linen Thread under it.

Here my list of products I used. Note: the sentiment is from Words of Beauty stamp set which is also in a great bundle so both are listed below:
