Flip Flap Card with Cute As A Bug

OMG! I just absolutely adore this card!!! You’ll be able to see by the inside that it was sent to me for my birthday. So I can’t take credit on the design, which was done by Linda Bauwin at Stampingwithlinda.com, but I had to share!

Hello, and welcome to Creative Card Class. I am Lisa Brown, here to share all creations made with using Stampin’ Up! products. Let’s dive into this one.

Linda used the Cute As A Bug Suite Collection and the 3″ x 4″ Flip Flaps. Let’s take a look at the card front first. She embossed part of the Mossy Meadow card stock, used the use ladybug embellishments and fussy cut a ladybug from the Designer Series Paper (DSP), which is strategically placed to hold the corner flap down. Lift that flap to open the card!

Card details:

Mossy Meadow CS: 5-1/2 x 7-1/2 scored at 4-1/4
- the small side emboss with the Ladybug Picnic 3D Embossing Folder
- bigger side adhere flip flap and then cover with one of the below strips of DSP. See photo for placement.
2 strips of DSP: 1″ x 5-1/2″ and then 3″ x 3-1/4″ for inside the flip flap
White 3-1/4″ x 2-1/4″ For inside sentiment
The three ants inside are die cut from DSP
With card closed, add ladybug to bottom right of card with a Stampin’ Dimensional. Cover enough of the Flip Flap corner to hold card closed
Embellish with some of the self-adhesive ladybugs.
