We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop Creativity Is in the Air!

Welcome to the We BEE Stamping Team Blog Hop for September. Our theme is creativity is in the air so I am anxious to see what everyone has created! This is a pretty open theme so we don’t know what each other is using for stamps, cardstock, etc.

I chose to create a pop-out, z-fold card using elements from the Sunflower Fields Suite, the Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder and gold sheets from Metallic Effects Specialty paper.

I love this metallic paper, but before I show you an upclose on that, lets take a look at the z-fold. This is looking at the card laying down and from the top. There is a Pop-up mechanism in there. Created with a 3 x 3 piece of Blackberry Bliss Card stock. It is then scored at 3/4″, 1-1/2″ and 2-1/4″. Fold all in the same direction and it will form a rectangle tube.

Blackberry Bliss card base is 5-1/4″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″.
- Then score one side of the 4-1/4″ at 2-1/8″
Sunflower Fields DSP:
- 1 piece at 4-1/8″ 5-3/8″ for inside background
- 2 pieces at 2″ x 5/38″ for panels
Crushed Curry card stock:
- for flower centers approximately 2 x 2 piece for those
- 2-3/8″ x 3-7/8″ for inside
- 1″ x 2-1/4″ for sentiment
Metallic Paper:
- 1 at 2-3/8″ x 3-7/8″ (front)
- 1 at 2-7/8″ x 4-1/8″ (inside)
- approximately 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ piece to die cut flowers
Old Olive CS: approximately 3″ x 3″ piece to die cut leaves

I embossed the leaves with the Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder

Now, let’s take a look at the awesome Metallic Effects Specialty Paper. You have to catch just the right light to see in a photo.
