🎄 A Little Christmas — Distressed Embossed Christmas Card

Sometimes it’s the background that completely changes the look of a card!

For today’s project, I’m featuring items from A Little Christmas Suite Collection, along with Tile Garden Dies and Rustic Check 3D Embossing Folder. I have a distressed technique that adds wonderful texture and character. And, of course, those adorable little mice decorating their Christmas tree make this card even sweeter! 🐭🎄

3 Main Elements: A Little Christmas DSP, Tile Garden Dies, & Rustic Check 3D Embossing Folder

TIP #1: You do not have to purchase an entire product suite. Chose items you want. For example, my card above uses the Tile Garden Dies from the product suite called Mosaic Garden. I only wanted the dies but not the stamps and paper, etc. The Rustic Check 3D embossing folder is from Painted Patch suite collection. Then of course, the mouse/tree image is from A Little Christmas DSP and the words from Christmas Mice stamp set.

TIP #2: Use our 12″ x 12″ Two-Tone Card Stock and our Sanding Block after embossing the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece with the Rustic Check embossing folder. Give it a lite rub to expose the white core of the paper. Did you know our Core Paper is Double sided with a lite side and a dark side. D

I used the the 3-1/4″ square die from Tile Garden. And the tree/mouse image is fussy cut from the designer series paper.
