Christmas Mouse in the Window

Hello! And welcome to my blog. My name is Lisa Brown and I’m excited to share this project today with items from the A Little Christmas Suite Collection. This is the cutest suite and I just love all the projects I am going to be sharing so be sure to sign up for notification of when my posts go live.

A Little Christmas suite collection features the sweetest little Christmas mice. The collection is playful and so much fun to create with. Let’s take a look at my card:

For the focal point of this card, I wanted to create the feeling of peeking through a cozy Christmas window. The adorable mouse image is a piece from the A Little Christmas Designer Series Paper.

I framed the scene with a gold window die cut from a die from the suite and added a beautiful wreath above it. The little wreath and bow give the card just the right amount of traditional Christmas charm.

I also added the little presents along the bottom of the card. I love how they look as though they’ve been left underneath the window waiting for Christmas morning!

The A Little Christmas Designer Series Paper is especially fun to work with. It features adorable mice enjoying all kinds of Christmas activities, along with coordinating plaids, stripes, bows, and other festive patterns.

Adding Texture
One of my favorite details on this card is the textured background created with the Rustic Check 3D Embossing Folder. The subtle brick-like texture adds dimension without taking attention away from the adorable Christmas scene.

And, of course, every Christmas card needs a little sentiment!
“Oh, What Fun!” seemed like the perfect choice for this cheerful little scene. 🎁

Why I Love the A Little Christmas Suite
