Fall Haystack and Fence

Autumn Goodness Bundle & Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper

Happy almost fall! Are you getting ready for all the beautiful colors, fresh crisp air and pumpkins? I am trying too but the weather in Northeast Ohio has been so great with lots of sunshine and warm temperatures that I am trying to enjoy as long as I can. But in thinking ahead, I have created a start to fall. So here is a card project featuring the Autumn Goodness Bundle and also the fabulous Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP.

I did a half front flap card today and love how it came out with the details of the DSP and the fence always being in view.

Card Details:

– card base and flap:

Cajun Craze card base cut 5-1/2 x 6-3/8 scored at 4-1/4 on the 6-3/8 side
Gilded Autumn DSP cut 2 x 5-3/8. Adhere to front flap
Die cut a circle from Brushed Metallic cardstock. I chose one the is 1-7/8
On scrap piece of Very Vanilla, stamp words in Cajun Craze
Die cut words with Tasteful Label Die and dimensional to Brushed Metallic circle
Adhere circles to card flap
Wrap metallic ribbon around flap and add bow

– inside, fence and haystack:

Die cut Fence die from Autumn Goodness Bundle with Brushed Metallic cardstock
Then die cut another fence but only 3 to 4 posts long.
Cut Very Vanilla CS to 4-1/8 x 5-3/8"
Die cut a haystack with Cajun Craze CS
Stamp haystack image on scrap Very Vanilla with Stazon Saddle Brown ink
Color small leaves on haystack with Old Olive Blends. I used dark shade but light will work too. Die cut.
Adhere stamped & die cut haystack to Cajun Craze haystack and slightly over lap for a shadow effect.
Adhere full fence to Very Vanilla CS above at bottom of 5-3/8 side. DO NOT glue fence where haystack will go so you can slip in or align ahead
Add smaller fence piece to extend fence and snip off extra if any
Stamp inside words with Cajun Craze ink up high so covered by flap
