Hello there. Are you looking for a different style card project to try something new? I always have to tell myself not all cards have to be your standard A2 book opening card. So today I have 2 fun and cute pull-out style card projects for you featuring the Velvet Meadow Suite Collection.

I love the colors in this suite and oh my… the velvet paper! So pretty. Let’s take a look at these 2 pull-out cards:

  • Take a piece of Berry Burst CS that is 4-1/4″ x 11″ and score at 5-1/2″ and 2″.
  • DSP on front is 2″ x 4″
  • Basic White 3-1/2″ x 5-1/4

In the below picture, I know you probably cannot see it and definitely cannot touch it, but the flower petals and words are both die cut using the Velveteen Assortment 12 x 12 paper. Amazing!

For the second pull-out card, this one is stepped up a little by adding mat layers of card stock. Let’s take a look:

  • Again, our card base is 4-1/4″ x 11″ but using Cloud Cover CS. It is scored at 5-1/2″ and 1″ on the long side
  • DSP floral pattern is 4 x 3-1/4″ (watch paper pattern when cutting). The blue checkered DSP pieces are 2″ x 4″ and 3/4″ x 4″
  • Berry Burst pieces:
    • 4-1/8″ x 3-3/8″ (mat to floral DSP)
    • 7/8″ x 4-1/8″ (mat to smaller blue checkered dsp)
    • 2-1/8″ x 4-1/8″ (mat to larger blue checkered dsp)
    • 3-3/8″ x 5-1/8″ (mat to pull-out part)
  • Basic White for pull-out is 3-1/2″ x 5″

I hope you like these two card projects. Fun and something different to enjoy making!
