I don't know what it is about this little guy but I just think he is so cute. I tend to lean towards floral designs or more sophisticated images, but this whimsical stamp set, Postcard Pals, is endearing. Check out the nice words and phrases.
In my card sample, I used Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens to color the little critter. Did you know Stampin' Up! now has Two different sets of watercolor pencils? Check out Assortment 2 that is now available.
Assortment 2 is $12.50. It includes 10 pencils in Stampin' Up! colors: Balmy Blue, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo, Garden Green, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, Night of Navy
The original set of pencils is $16.00 and includes 13 pencils in Stampin’ Up! colors: Basic Black, Basic Gray, Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Pacific Point, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White
Do you like my background? I used watercolor paper and Brusho. Just a little sprinkle of PrussianBlue Brusho crystals and a spritz of water gives an interesting background.
