Team Blog Hop Logo

Welcome to our team blog hop featuring fun fold cards.  I have a new to me fold that I have never tried before called a Triple Floating Diamond Card.  I was a lot easier than I thought, just a little bit of cutting and paper color coordination.  But that is what Stampin' Up! is great at!  All the coordinating products whether individually purchased our bought in a suite collection.

Today I will be featuring the Beautiful Gallery Suite Collection and two 2025-2027 In Colors, Cloud Cover and Secret Sea.

Card Stock and Designer Series Paper:

  • Cloud Cover: 4" x 8" (2 for card base) and 2-7/8" x 2-7/8 (3 for diamonds)
  • Secret Sea:     1-7/8" x 3-7/8" (6 matting – 4 on front, 2 on back)
  • DSP:                1-3/4" x 3-3/4" (4 matting) and 2-5/8" x 2-5/8" (3 for diamonds)
  • Basic White:  1-3/4" x 3-34/" (2 matting on back) and 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" (3 for diamonds)
        • front left label is 5/8" x 2-1/2
        • front right label is 1-1/8" x 2-1/8"

1.  Take Both Cloud Cover CS pieces and Score at 2", 4", and 6".  Then on the 4" sides, find 2" point and cut at an angle from 2" point to first score line outside edge.  Do this on both pieces.  You are making pointed ends which you can see in the below picture.

Score all your lines as shown and put the two pieces of card stock up against each other.  Now take one of your diamond pieces and adhere to those center flaps.  You can do one at a time if it is easier.  Or at the same time.  (I already have my layers glued together which are Cloud Cover, Basic White and pattern from DSP).   I think at this point too, I think it is fair to say that I found this on Kathi Ondus's site (simplykardsbykathi.com) so be sure to check her out.

Layer all the panels with Secret Sea and Designer Series Paper and also the other diamond pieces.  Don't forget about the 2 panels on the back.  Here are some more pictures to help.

Embellish with the stamps, dies, ribbon, and pressed flower motifs embellishments.

NOTE:  Cloud Clover ink is not available.  I colored my flowers by taking my Stampin' Write Marker and scribbling ink onto an acrylic block.  Then used a Blender Pen to lift the color from the block to my flower image. I have not done this in so long, I sometimes forget that we have the Blender Pens.  Great tool!
